Vom 11. bis 14. August 2018 fand die 9. International Sustainability Transitions (IST) Conference in Manchester, UK, statt. Auf der Konferenz präsentierte Karoline Augenstein mit Boris Bachmann das Paper „‚Sharing Cities‘ – A new hype or true potential for sustainability transitions in urban and economic systems?”. Karoline Augenstein diskutierte zu dem im Rahmen des Vortrags „Upscaling the Sharing Economy in Urban Context through Narrative Networks“ erste Ideen der Verknüpfung von Narrativen und Sharing Economy. Alexandra Kessler trug zum Thema „ERGÄNZEN“ vor und Verena Hermelingmeier präsentierte ihr Poster zu „Dealing with the niche. Incumbents strategies of handling trends“.
