Political agenda setting within the discursive context of the city
Boris Bachmann is a PhD candidate and Research Fellow at the Centre for Transformation Research and Sustainability (TransZent) as well as the School of Human and Social Sciences at the University of Wuppertal. He analyses the role of local politics in fostering sharing practices in an urban context. In his research, he is especially interested in the role of narratives in agenda setting and in the influence of specific cities as characteristic discursive contexts for urban development and transformation processes.
Before joining UrbanUp, Boris Bachmann has worked as a PR consultant and editor for clients from international business and the public sector. He has studied Political Sciences, German Literature and Philosophy at the University of Bonn.
